Alligator Eats Videographer

Sometimes a videographer gets so caught up in the action that he forgets the image in his viewfinder is real. This can be a problem when the image is a seven foot alligator.

Egret and Snake

Went back to Sawgrass Lake Park yesterday, camcorder in hand. The firs thing I saw was this Snowy Egret tring to eat a snake. I couldn't get close enough to see if it was a poisonous snake, there are plenty of cotton mouths in the area. If it was, for the sake of the Egret, I hope he's immune to the venom.

Bush Farting Doll

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMAaU30o0rc

I'm thinking of retailing this thing for the holidays, so I put together this quick video - actually, the the Bush farting doll came in the mail about one this afternoon and I've been farting around with it and my camcorder ever since (five hours). The video will redirect you to a site I own and use to promote some great gag gift items.

The Election

I've been real quiet lately. Haven't said a word about the election; in fact, I haven't said much of anything. The truth is, I've been holding my breath in hope and trepidation.

With the voting machines easily hackable by the party in power, giving no paper trail, I fully expected the Republicans to deliver a surprise victory, in spite of the polls. I was sure they would exploit that vulnerability…and I'm certain they did - but the public's desire to be rid of these corrupt sons of bitches was so overwhelming, they just couldn't pull it off. Too many votes to change. And the bad guys are out on their asses. Most of 'em.

I don't have much faith in what had been the Democratic Party, but there looks to be life in some of the new players. I hope I'm not being naive. The thing of it is though, even if the Dems do nothing, mathematically that puts us way ahead of the damage the monsters would have done. Zero is bigger than a large negative and the neo-cons had been systematically raping America. The corruption was unbridled, unprecedented and incomprehensible.

We're not out of the woods yet; the bastards won't be moving out of their offices for a while and Bush will remain in power for another two years. Still, I feel like I've got my country back. I feel like I'm dreaming.

Two Dozen Lives Each Week To Satisfy One?

I know that Sam, the Bearded Dragon, like all creatures, has to eat. I'm not a vegitarian either, but somehow feeding one creature so many crickets, virtually taking the lives of so many to fee one, seems wrong.
